Meet the Teacher!
Welcome! I received a B.A. from the University of Illinois, and M.A.T. from National Louis University.  Prior to teaching, I worked in the fields of events planning, public relations, and television production.  I have three teenage boys (!)   My eldest son is a senior at Illinois Wesleyan University,  my middle son is a sophomore at The University of Iowa, and my youngest is a high school senior.   I'm excited to work with your children this year, and hope to ignite their passion for learning!

ACE Math:
This year we will be utilizing Go Math (4th grade), and Glencoe Mathematics (5th grade) texts.  As in the past, we will continue to work one grade level+ within the math curriculum.  In addition, all ACE Math students have access to ALEKS - an on-line supplemental and enrichment tool.

ACE ELA:
There's lots happening in ACE ELA this year!  This year we are switching to the text Literary Reflections - a curriculum tool designed with advanced learners in mind; we will also continue our exploration of literature using a variety of novels through out the year.  Back by popular demand (!) are our stem and vocabulary packets, as well as a variety of fun projects - stay tuned for more information!
